Gifts and treats for all at Ginger Fig gift shop and gallery in Taunton

Tucked away in Bath Place, which has to be the best street in Taunton, you will find Ginger Fig. I absolutely adore this shop; if you are looking for a gift or maybe even a little treat for yourself or your home, this is the place to go.

The owner, Catherine Esbester, clearly has a passion for what she does. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and she really does appear to put a huge amount of attention into the sourcing and selection of her stock. As you walk in you can smell the gorgeous scent of what must be a combination of the Heyland & Whittle and Tisserand toiletries and St Eval candles, amongst other equally lovely smelling lavender goodies. Ginger Fig is also a great place to stock up on cards and I have found myself whiling away my time smiling at some of the very amusing Tyrrell Katz greeting cards.

No matter who you are shopping for, you are bound to find something suitable at Ginger Fig. Above the gift shop you will find their lovely gallery which has a wide selection of paintings, prints, jewellery and sculptures – all by local artists. I particularly like the cow paintings by Alison Jacobs and the porcelain candleholders by Liz Howe. I don’t doubt you will love this shop just as much as I do!
